The mission of this website is to draw together into one place, the known information on the Caperton image link to cdbooksfamily name. Here you will find information on what is known or believed about the early origins of the Caperton's. I have permission from Mary Caperton to create an online version and a CD-Reprint of Bernard Caperton's book - The Caperton Family. I have set up a photo gallery for fellow Caperton's to upload photos of their family. I have also set up a Caperton discussion board and a links page to others looking into the Caperton name. Finally and most importantly, The Family Project. This project would update Bernards book. Many people who have the book have found where their family line links into it.

I would like to receive updates from those of you willing to provide this information, and incorporate it into a "New Edition". I have started off the project by adding my "branch" of the Caperton family tree.
